Somabula House
Sleeping up to 10 people, the Somabula House offers a lovely family escape into nature. It has four bedrooms with an additional flat, featuring electrical wall sockets.
Living room with a television.
Full kitchen with an island making food preparation easy.
A lovely yard featuring a braai area with beautiful views, a jungle gym, lawns, as well as a swimming pool.
Pioneer Cottage
A quaint thatched 2 sleeper cottage built in the mid 1800s with manure floors and shutters. One bedroom with double bed, lounge/dining area, inside kitchen and bath /toilet. All linen and towels provided.
Solar lighting, gas stove, water heater and small fridge, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils provided.
The cottage is equipped with a braai area overlooking the valley.
Shibala and Matombo chalets
Thatched double story chalets with two bedrooms. Main bedroom with double bed upstairs. Second bedroom with two single beds and shower/toilet downstairs. All linen and towels provided.
Lounge area with indoor fireplace. Covered outside kitchen area.
Solar lighting, gas stove, water heater and small fridge, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils provided.
The chalets are equipped with a braai area overlooking the valley.
Outspan
4 beautifully restored ox-wagons. Each containing double bed with all linen and towels provided.
The wagons surround a thatched lapa area with living, dining and cooking facilities with fireplace.
Solar lighting, gas stove, water heater and fridge/freezer, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils provided.
Braai facilities provided.

On the reserve you will find buffalo, giraffe, kudu, sable, gemsbok, nyala, eland, zebra and more. We offer game drives so that you can see all our animals!
Next door to Carlsruhe, is Beynespoort Guestfarm & Venue. Two beautiful house surrounding a swimming pool, coupled with a venue and a chapel, make this an iconic function accommodation.

The Main House offers four bedrooms (with an additional 5th), each with its own on suite bathroom. It has beautiful garden views, as well as a comfortable family living room and kitchen.
Camping (See map)
Widely spaced, unfenced camp sites with free roaming non dangerous wild life and excellent birdlife. The camp ground is grassed and each site has its own braai facilities, water on tap and access to ablution areas.
3 sites, Kingfisher, Hornbill & Bulbul share ablutions, with flush toilets, showers with hot & cold water and wash-up area.
4 sites, Egret, Hadeda, Lourie & Barbet have private lock-up ablution blocks with toilet, shower and wash up facilities.
All camp sites are without power. All ablutions have solar/or gas water heating & solar lighting.
Day visits
Fish Eagle Lapa which overlooks the dam is available for day visitors and ideal for family outings.
Braai facilities and covered seating is available at the thatched lapa and can accommodate up to 10 people.
The lapa is available at an additional charge but booking is essential.
